I started my career at PwC, where I learned the rigor of Big 4 audit and earned my CPA license. But I was always drawn to the technology side — understanding how systems actually work, not just how they’re documented.
That led me to Coalfire, where I served as lead assessor on SOC 2 examinations of AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Oracle Cloud, IBM Cloud, and other major hyperscalers — the cloud platforms your business depends on. Then to AWS, where I built and secured cloud infrastructure at scale. Along the way, I never stopped doing what I loved most — helping people make sense of their finances and navigate complex tax situations.
I started Tang Advisory because I kept seeing the same gap: CPAs who don’t understand technology, and security consultants who can’t issue audit reports. I do both. Whether it’s getting your taxes right or getting your SOC 2 report issued, I bring the same approach — technically deep, personally attentive, and no BS.
